[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]
The Bellalenta face mask is machine-washable. Wash routinely, depending on use. According to the CDC, a standard machine wash will disinfect and clean your mask. Wash with cold water. Our packs of three washable reusable face masks are intended to make daily use easier to manage by providing enough masks for some to be in the wash while others are in use. Tumble dry on low or air dry. Expect minor shrinking due to the natural fabrications.

These Face Masks are NOT CDC certified or FDA approved. They are not meant to replace N95 masks. However, the CDC advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus and help from transmitting it to others.

The Need
Not intended for medical use
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
As coronavirus continues to spread, the biggest fear for medical professionals is a lack of personal protective equipment. Bellalenta’s handmade face masks are not intended to replace the medical grade N95 masks, but since the disease spreads by respiratory droplets, they are still a barrier for those exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19. The Center for Disease Control says that when no face masks are available, healthcare professionals should use homemade masks when treating patients with Covid-19.

By “flattening the curve,” we can help to slow down the infections and hospitalizations that occur, we can help to stretch that time line and don’t overwhelm our medical system and cause a higher death rate. We all must do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and help our community save lives. Current projections show that our medical system struggless give medical treatment to those infected. That’s why it’s essential to slow the spread of Covid-19 through social distancing and protective equipment.
